Lauren A. Hagerman focuses her practice on motor vehicle negligence, no-fault law, premises liability, and other insurance coverage and defense matters. Within these practice areas, she concentrates on appeals and provides research, writing, and strategic support for complex cases.

Ms. Hagerman has experience representing clients ranging from national insurers and corporations to small businesses, individuals, and municipalities, and has litigated many successful cases in the Michigan Court of Appeals. She has also represented clients in appeals to the Michigan Supreme Court and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and has experience at all stages of litigation at the trial court level.

Ms. Hagerman brings a unique perspective to her cases thanks to her additional experience trying criminal cases as an Assistant Oakland County Prosecutor and providing judicial research and writing support as a research attorney for the Macomb County Circuit Court.

Ms. Hagerman earned her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, where she served on The Wayne Law Review and competed in the American Bar Association's National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Washington, D.C. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Wayne State University.
