Ms. Forsyth began her career in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where she litigated more than 50 appeals, successfully argued several cases before the Illinois Appellate Court, and assisted with high-profile criminal trials. She then joined the litigation department at a large Midwest law firm, where she represented major companies, real estate developers, high net-worth individuals, and entrepreneurs in matters ranging from employment discrimination and commercial disputes to fraud and white-collar criminal defense.

 

Currently, Ms. Forsyth concentrates on general liability defense, representing national corporations and insurance carriers in tort liability, intricate medical fraud litigation, and coverage disputes.

 

Moreover, she holds credentials as a certified mediator. In 2022, she completed a rigorous 40-hour certification course in Mediating Disputes at Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation. Additionally, she earned a certificate in Family Law Mediation in 2012 from Margaret Powers & Associates in Illinois.

 

Ms. Forsyth's academic prowess is notable; she graduated in the top 6% of her class at Chicago-Kent College of Law and is a distinguished member of the Order of the Coif, recognizing exceptional scholastic and professional accomplishments. During her time in law school, she served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Judge Blanche Manning, Northern District of Illinois.

Ms. Forsyth has been admitted to practice in Illinois, Colorado, Michigan, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.
